Calvary Chapel Flathead Valley
Calvary Flathead is hosting Sunday services at 9 & 11am with Children’s Ministry.
We are able to provide Children’s Ministry at both services for kids PK – 5th grade. In addition, our nursery will be staffed and available as well.
To help keep everyone healthy, we are offering only snacks during class that are prepackaged and will limit games and activities with group contact. Kids will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer around the midpoint of the class. In the nursery, our sanitized toys will not be shared between children. Lessons on sharing will have to come at a later date. 🙂
He have hand sanitizer at the entry points and are wiping down “high-touch” surfaces between services. Self serve coffee and tea are available for you after both services. We are making these and other changes for the benefit of you and your family should you wish to participate.
We encourage everyone to be loving and gracious to one another.
For those who would like to wear a mask, you are welcome to do so. There are masks in the entry points should you need one. If you or someone in your family is sick or not feeling well, please stay home. You may consider staying home for the time being if you are in a vulnerable demographic. You may also consider staying home if you live with or are in close contact with someone who is elderly or immunocompromised. If you live in Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Whitefish or beyond, you will still be able to connect with your church remotely.
The Sunday 9am service and Wednesday Bible Study at 6pm will continue to be ONLINE on Facebook Live and www.calvaryflathead.freeonlinechurch.com.
If you are in or near Kalispell, you are welcome to attend the Wednesday Bible Study, Youth Group, or Kids Club in person!

2,700 years ago, the powerful and evil king of Assyria was threatening Jerusalem. Hezekiah, the king of Judah, told the people to be encouraged and to trust in the Lord and not their own strength.
“Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that [is] with him; for [there are] more with us than with him. 8 “With him [is] an arm of flesh; but with us [is] the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.” (2 Chronicles 32:7-8)
During this time, we do not need to fear or be dismayed. We are to trust in the Lord and be comforted by the fact that God is for us and will fight our battles. Look to Him. Trust in Him. Use your God given critical thinking skills. Be reasonable. And may we not lean on our own understanding but move forward in the strength of the Lord.
See you at Calvary Flathead!

“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.” (1John 4:9 NKJV) The Bible teaches us that sin is much more that simply breaking rules or commandments whether issued by man or God. Sin relates to our rebelling against God and His principles, but also to the falling short of His righteous standard. The problem is that our sinful nature prevents us from completely obeying God’s principles when we try and it propels us from Him when we are tempted to rebel.
What does Christmas have to do with sin?
