Act 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

The CCFV Home Groups usually consist of approximately 8 to 12 people per group studying through scripture with a guided group discussion paired with prayer and fellowship. There are groups meeting throughout the valley seasonally. Contact our office to find a Home Group to plug into.

Reasons To Join A Home Group

• Home Groups allow closer interpersonal fellowship and interaction with others in the church. People talk more in small groups.

• Home Groups promote unity among believers as they learn and grow together. 

• Home Groups make church life more interactive. The regular Sunday morning service setting doesn’t allow for open interaction, questions, and comments. It’s encouraged in the Home Groups atmosphere to engage in conversation, give input, participate in group discussions, and ask questions. 

• Home Groups help meet the needs of everyone on many levels such as spiritual, social, intellectual, and material. This involves praying and caring for each other, sharing with each other, and serving each other. The group gets to use their individual gifts and talents to help one another.

• Home Groups present a platform for teaching the basic truths and principles of the Word of God, and provide a setting for the practical application of what is learned.

• Home Groups provide a chance to practice the “one anothers” of the New Testament. The Home Groups atmosphere offers a platform to be a blessing to others by being doers of the Word.

• Home Groups aid in equipping those in the group to become tools of the Lord for evangelism in their individual spheres of influence, reaching out to others with truth in God’s love.
